Privacy Policy — Crypto News

Last updated: 5 August 2026 • Developer: ATOM Technology

Summary

The Crypto News app (com.crypto.news.plus) does not collect, store or transmit personal data to ATOM Technology. There is no user account, analytics, advertising or third-party tracking SDK.

How the app works

The app downloads headlines directly from public RSS feeds selected by the user, such as Cointelegraph, CoinDesk and Decrypt. It fetches public cryptocurrency market prices from the CoinGecko API. Those third-party services receive normal internet request information, including your IP address, as they would when you visit their websites. The app does not add an advertising identifier or an ATOM Technology user identifier.

Data stored on your device

Enabled sources, locally added feeds, recently loaded headlines, saved articles, the local cryptocurrency watchlist and optional price-alert thresholds are stored only on your device. They are removed when you clear the app's data or uninstall it.

Optional notifications

If you create a price alert, the app may request permission to send notifications. Price checks and alert decisions run locally on your device. You can remove an alert, revoke notification permission or disable notifications at any time in Android settings.

Opening articles

Articles open on the original publisher's website in your device browser. The privacy policy of that website applies from that point.

Not financial advice

Prices are shown for information only and may be delayed or inaccurate. Nothing in this app is investment advice.

Children

The app is not directed at children and ATOM Technology does not collect data from any category of user through the app.
