Business & Markets does not require an account and contains no advertising, analytics, tracking or third-party tracking SDK. ATOM Technology does not collect or receive personal data through the app.
News and external connections
The app retrieves headlines directly from the public RSS feeds selected by the user. Opening an article launches the original publisher website. Those external services receive normal connection data such as the device IP address and may apply their own privacy policies.
Market data
The Markets page retrieves reference currency rates from ExchangeRate-API and cryptocurrency prices from CoinGecko. Requests go directly from the device and do not include an ATOM Technology account or identifier. The displayed source and retrieval time explain the freshness of the values. Market data may be delayed and is not financial advice.
Data stored only on the device
- enabled, disabled or manually added RSS sources;
- saved articles, reading preferences and cached headlines for offline reading;
- the local market watchlist and the last cached market responses;
- the amount and currencies currently entered in the converter while the screen is open.
This information is not sent to ATOM Technology. It can be cleared from the app or removed completely by uninstalling it.
Permissions
The app uses internet access to retrieve public RSS and market data. It does not request location, contacts, camera, microphone, shared storage, advertising ID or background notification permissions.
