The Breaking World News app (breaking.news.world) does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. There is no user account, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking SDKs.
The app downloads headlines directly from the public RSS feeds of the international news sources you choose (for example BBC News, The Guardian, Al Jazeera, NPR, DW). These requests are made directly from your device to those websites, which can see your IP address exactly as if you visited them in a browser. No identifier of yours is added to those requests.
Your preferences (enabled/disabled sources, sources you add yourself, saved articles) and the most recently loaded headlines (for offline reading) are stored only locally on your device and are removed completely when you uninstall the app. The "Today's briefing" and topic grouping features run entirely on your device.
Articles open on the publisher's website inside your device browser (Custom Tabs). From that point, the privacy policy of the visited website applies.
The app is not directed at children and collects no data from any category of user.
